Hi all,

Sorry I haven’t been on for a while. My remodeling is almost done and graduation is just around the corner. Today we visited several fun sites about space. The track is #352799. Use this link or you can use the link on the blog to get to track star and enter the track #.

We will have a math and spelling page for homework tonight. Just think there is only 2 more weeks of school. I will try to get all the red riding hood stories on the blog soon. You can always check my webpage (link on right.) if I have not gotten your child’s posted yet.

Red Riding Hood Stories

Hi all,

If you are reading this on the red riding hood page you will have to click on the title to find the players and links to download the stories.

The class read Lon Po Po, A Chinese Red Riding Hood Story, a few weeks ago. We thought it would be fun to write our own Red Riding Hood Stories. Well they may not have thought it would be fun but mean old Mr. Furlong assigned it anyway. I will post them all on this post then work on posting them individually so you can comment to a specific child.

Hello Parents,

Sorry about missing posts last week. Today the spelling words will be coming home.

We will have the assessment for measurement tomorrow, time on Friday, we will be taking the building time tests for math facts over the week, and taking on-line assessments. It is important that your child is at school well rested and prepared for the day.

I know this gets harder as sports and other activities start. Please be sure to make clear to your kids that school work is more important than these other activities. You have no idea how many times I have herd I can’t do that at home I have more important things to do. It is important that you make sure your child knows that school is the most important activity.

thanks

Allen

Hi Parents,

Today we only have a spelling page for homework. We just finished the geometric shapes unit and will be starting measurement. We will be measuring to the inch and half inch and measuring centimeters and meters over the next week. Tomorrow we will have the story and spelling tests. I will be out of town for a conference and will be back Wednesday.
